New York State CIO Academy 2012
As a proud sponsor of the New York State CIO Academy 2012, QED National congratulates the speakers and organizers on a very successful event. Held on April 18th and 19th in Albany, NY, this program focused on providing New York public sector CIOs opportunities to sharpen their business skills and network with each other and industry leaders. QED National attendees found the various speaker presentations especially interesting and informative. Also, we would like to offer a special congratulations to New York CIO of the Year Award winner, Mr. Brian Digman, who was recognized for orchestrating the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance's technology transformation into a modern agency. Russ Kiernan Presents to the NYS Forum's Project Management COP
Our own Russ Kiernan was a featured speaker at the this year's first NYS Forum Project Management Community of Practice session. Held at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center, the presentation focused on the value of Project Management in NYS Agencies. Russ, who is a Co-chair of the NYS Forum's Project Workgroup, presented the results from the "Measuring the Value of Project Management in NYS Agencies" survey conducted last year. In addition, three NYS Project Management Office Directors provided an overview of the various aspects of their PMOs. Congratulations to all on a successful event.

The New York Power Authority is the largest state-owned public power facility in the United States. QED National is proud to have been awarded the contract to provide IT Temporary Personnel to this esteemed organization. Services offered under this contract include Project Management, Business Analysis, Application Development, and various Infrastructure Support functions.
