New York, NY—On March 21, early in the afternoon, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio announced his plan to convince New York State legislatures to help raise the City’s Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Noncompetitive Small Purchase vehicle to a ceiling of $1 Million. This would substantially eclipse the current vehicle’s spending limit of $150,000 per purchase.
